Boyle v. Matthew Murray & PMI Investment Company

Carelessness Ends the Life of a Beloved High School Principal

John Boyle had dedicated much of his life to working in a challenging role that involved helping others. As the principal of Indian Ridge High School he was charged with overseeing this Palm Beach County (PBC) School District facility for students with serious emotional challenges. John had previously served the district as a principal at Sable Palm School and had served as a volunteer at Wellington High School assisting students with disabilities. A caring, loving family man, John was revered by family, friends, colleagues and his students.

John was driving his car on Northlake Blvd. in northern Palm Beach County. Suddenly, near the intersection of Northlake Blvd. and Ryder Cup, the Boyle’s car was rear-ended by a large Ford Van driven by Matthew Murray. The van was owned by his employer, PMI Investment Company. John suffered critical injuries, and was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in West Palm Beach, where he died shortly thereafter from those injuries.

This incident is truly a tragedy. Mr. Boyle was a vital, dedicated, caring man who put his family, friends, colleagues and students first in his life. However, due to the carelessness of another person, his life has ended and his family is devastated. John Boyle enjoyed an active, happy, prosperous life doing what he loved, helping troubled children find their way. Suddenly and tragically his life was taken from him in a most senseless way.

The firm of Murray Guari has successfully settled the case against Matthew Murray and PMI Investment Corporation on behalf of the Boyle family.
