Desert Storm Veteran and Single Mother Obtains Justice ? Delayed Payment
Willie Sherrod, a veteran of Desert Storm and mother of one, was involved in violent automobile crash in Riviera Beach, Florida due to Defendant Stanford Grandison’s negligence.
As a result of the incident, she suffered lacerations to her arms and a painful herniated disc with radiculopathy to her cervical spine; her medical condition required surgical intervention of a cervical discectomy and fusion.
Because the Defendant’s automobile insurance carrier wrongfully failed to settle Ms. Sherrod’s case for fair value when it could and should have under all reasonable circumstances, Attorney Jason J. Guari filed suit on Ms. Sherrod’s behalf in Palm Beach County Circuit Court and proceeded to obtain a verdict against Defendant Grandison well in excess of his automobile insurance coverage (Bodily Injury Insurance).
Prior to verdict, Attorney Jason J. Guari, successfully settled the case for approximately nine times Defendant Grandison’s automobile insurance policy limits.
The name of the Defendant’s automobile liability insurance company and the terms of the settlement are confidential.
