Partners Jason Guari and Scott Perry and Attorney Keith Hedrick entered into confidential settlements to resolve three premises liability cases and an automobile negligence case for over $2.3 million.
Although these settlements were confidential, we can tell you that the path to settlement was very different for each case. Two cases took less than a year from the date of loss; one case took just over a year from the date of the crash; and the other case took almost four years to resolve. Despite obstacles, these cases were handled professionally and efficiently from start to finish to achieve the best results for our clients, including ensuring the defense had everything they needed for proper evaluation
Every case our attorneys work on is important, and we always push for the maximum recovery, keeping our clients’ best interest a priority. Sometimes, when our clients’ damages meet or exceed the available insurance coverage, then the maximum recovery is limited to the policy limits (unless the insurer has acted in bad faith during the claims handling process). Other times, determining the maximum recovery requires an in-depth analysis of the risks moving forward versus the offer on the table. We pride ourselves on our communication with clients and providing our clients with the most appropriate advice to make an informed decision about claim resolution.
Our interest is always to do what is right for our clients and to push insurance companies to fairly compensate them for their injuries and damages. If the insurance companies do not evaluate our clients’ claims fairly during the pre-suit phase, we have no problem filing lawsuits to ensure that our clients obtain maximum recovery, including going to verdict.
No matter how long the case takes to resolve, we stand by our clients every step of the way from beginning to end – and beyond. We want our clients – past, present, and future – to know we are always here to help them, their families, and their friends
