Do I have to have lights on my bicycle and wear a helmet in Florida?
- Under Florida law, individuals under the age of 16 are required to wear a helmet. In addition, bicycle lights are required in the front and rear of the bike if it's being operated between sunset and sunrise. A white light is required in the front of the bicycle and a red light is required in the back of the bicycle. Finally, a rear red reflector is also required.
