The purpose of Martin County Chapter of FAWL is to promote the interest of women professionals, to promote gender equality in the law, to facilitate the administration of justice, and to uphold the highest standard of integrity, learning, honor, and courtesy in the legal profession. Membership is available to female and male attorneys, members of the judiciary, paralegals, judicial assistants, legal assistants, law students, business leaders, and all other individuals who seek to join with us in the fulfillment of our community goals.
Established in 1951, the Association serves as the statewide voice for Florida’s women lawyers and a communication resource for its 27 chapters throughout the state of Florida. Each local chapter is an independent voluntary bar association, but its members, by enrolling in the local Chapter, also become members of FAWL.
