West Palm Beach, FL – Murray Guari Trial Attorneys is proud to announce that partner Scott Murray and his wife, Jamie, are co-chairs of the “College Craze” fundraiser for the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County on May 9, 2009, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
The Murray’s will share chair honors with David and Glynetter Prather. This is the 21st year of the event, which is held to recognize and honor the attorneys, law firms and legal professionals who provide pro bono legal services in the community in 2008. Special recognition will be given to firms and individuals who exceeded all expectations for their volunteer work and contributions to the community.
“I have been involved with the Legal Aid Society for more than 10 years, and it is both a pleasure and a privilege to be in a leadership role as a co-chair,” Mr. Murray said. “Legal Aid is an organization that truly makes a difference in peoples lives right here in South Florida, and my wife and I are proud to be a part of that.”
The annual event will feature a silent auction, cocktail reception and dinner buffet, awards ceremony and evening entertainment from students at the . The theme of the evening will be “College Craze: Capturing the Campus Spirit.”
The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc., founded in 1949, is a private nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing free legal services to disadvantaged children, families, elders and individuals living in Palm Beach County.
