As many as 30 million potentially faulty tire valves have been installed on cars and vehicles throughout the U.S. between September 2006 and June 2007. The small valve stem lets air in and out of your tire. Several American tire makers and car and auto companies have used these valves.

For the first time ever, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in conjunction and the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute have tested car booster seat effectiveness with safety belt fit (not crash tested). The study found that numerous car booster seats did a poor job of positioning children to safely fit in their seat belts.
