Murray Guari Trial Attorneys Partner Scott Murray was recently installed as Chair of the Board of Directors of Vita Nova. Vita Nova’s mission is to provide a safe place for young adults to get help when they do not have anywhere to turn for school, work, healthcare and housing.
As a native and fourth generation of Palm Beach County, Scott really cares about his community and strongly believes in giving back. Youth today face a host of life challenges including homelessness. He wants to help improve outcomes for Palm Beach County’s youth as they age out of foster care. He also wants to help them become strong and independent decision makers who can advocate for their needs.
Scott is an experienced attorney, dedicated to representing clients who have suffered injury due to the negligence of others. He pursues justice in personal injury and wrongful death matters involving auto accidents, dangerous products and unsafe premises.
In addition to holding several leadership positions in state and local Bar Associations, Scott also devotes his time to the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach as a member of its Board of Directors and is Secretary of the non-profit. He is also a volunteer instructor for the Justice Teaching Program, created by the Justices of the Florida Supreme Court, which is designed to teach civics to middle school students.
Vita Nova helps young adults transition to independence by providing a stable, nurturing environment that includes housing, counseling, and education. To learn more about Vita Nova visit: https://www.vitanovainc.org.
